These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Test your Knowledge app and website. Please read them carefully before using our service.

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

1. Who we are

Test your Knowledge is operated by cobWebb Analytics (sole trader).

2. Our service

Test your Knowledge is a subscription-based mobile/web app designed to support students preparing for The Knowledge (the London taxi driver exam). The app generates practice questions and routes to aid study.

We do not guarantee that using the app will ensure success in The Knowledge exam.

3. Subscriptions and payments

  • Access to the app requires a paid subscription.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) until cancelled.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.
  • If your payment fails, access to the app may be suspended until the issue is resolved.

4. Free trials

We may offer free trials at our discretion. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the chosen subscription plan. You can cancel anytime.

Referral discount codes give new users their first three months for £2.99 each. If someone uses your code, you will also receive a discount.

5. Refunds and cancellations

  • Under UK consumer law, you have a 14-day “cooling-off” period to cancel for a full refund if you have not accessed the app after payment.
  • If you access the app immediately after purchase, you agree to waive this right.
  • Refund requests outside the cooling-off period are not normally provided, but you can cancel future renewals at any time.

6. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information (name and email) when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • Accounts are personal and must not be shared.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content, branding, and software relating to Test your Knowledge is owned by us.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the app without our permission.
  • You may use the app only for your personal study.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the app for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app’s operation.
  • Share content from the app publicly without permission.

9. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

  • We provide the app “as is” without guarantees.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
    • Loss of data, income, or business.
    • Your exam results or career outcomes.
    • Issues caused by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, Glide).

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the app. Continued use of the service means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
